Return Policy
At Finna, we aim to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, we are here to help. Our return policy is aligned with Australian Consumer Law and is designed to provide you with clear guidelines.
Australian Consumer Law
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if the products you purchase:
- Are faulty or damaged upon arrival.
- Are not as described or do not match the product you ordered.
- Are unsafe to use or fail to perform as advertised.
Please note, Australian Consumer Law does not cover returns for change of mind.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must:
- Be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.
- Be returned in the original packaging (where applicable).
- Be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery.
Process for Returns
If you believe your item qualifies for a return under Australian Consumer Law or due to damage during transit, please follow these steps:
Contact Us
Email our customer service team at finnatheteachic@gmail.com. within 48 hours of receiving your order. Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photographs (for damaged or faulty products)
Return Authorization
Our team will assess your request. If approved, we will provide you with a return authorization and instructions for sending the product back to us
Return Shipping
- If the item is being returned due to a fault, damage, or our error, we will cover the return shipping costs using Australia Post.
- For other returns not covered under Australian Consumer Law (e.g., incorrect product ordered), return shipping will be at the customer’s expense.
We recommend using Australia Post for returning products, as we are not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Be sure to use tracking and obtain proof of postage.
Refunds
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and notify you of the status of your refund. If approved, a refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Please note:
- Refunds will include the cost of the item and any applicable shipping charges, where appropriate.
- For change-of-mind returns, original shipping costs will not be refunded, and the return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect as per your order. If you need to exchange an item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will arrange for an exchange to be processed as soon as possible.
Non-Returnable Items.
Products that are on sale or clearance items, unless they are faulty
Damaged or Lost Packages
If your package is lost or damaged in transit, please contact Australia Post for assistance using your provided tracking number. While we take every precaution to ensure safe delivery, Australia Post is responsible for handling goods once they are dispatched. We will assist you in filing a claim with Australia Post if necessary.
